Ubisoft has announced the dates and location for the 2021 Rainbow Six: Siege Six Invitational event. The tournament that is regarded as the pinnacle of the competitive calendar year as the and World Championship of Rainbow Six: Siege esports will take place in Paris, France between February 9 and 21.

The 2021 Six Invitational will be a LAN event, meaning the top 20 teams from around the globe will be competing in person, albeit following strict safety measures. There will be no audience on site, however, and to ensure the event is carried out in the safest way possible, Ubisoft has been working with Live Nation, ACEPS, ISMA and the French Government. As for what the tournament structure is planned to be, all teams will engage in group play between February 9 and 14. There will be two groups of ten teams, and at the end of group play, the top eight teams from each group will advance to playoffs. You can check out a look as to how the groups will be split in the image below. Playoffs on the other hand, will take place from February 17 to 21, and will crown a winner when all things are said and done.

Since the Six Invitational does mark the start of a new calendar year in Rainbow Six: Siege esports, the development team for the title at Ubisoft also intend to once again show off a look as to what they have planned for the game over the course of 2021. So, you really don't want to miss this massive event.
