North American esports organisation Rogue and Find Your Grind have revealed that they're now accepting applications for the second semester of Junior Rogue, a program that gives young Fortnite players a path to pursuing a career in the game.
Selected applicants will receive mentoring from Rogue's Fortnite team as well as a $500 USD scholarship, access to industry experts, and other unique resources. Two Junior Rogue graduates immediately joined professional organisations in the first semester, and competed in the Fall Skirmish and Winter Royale, so the program has already been a success.
"We're extremely proud of our first semester Junior Rogue graduates and the progress they made through the mentorship of the Junior Rogue program," says Nick Gross, founder of Find Your Grind. "Now we're on the hunt for new amateur players to join Junior Rogue and pursue their passion for gaming and Fortnite."The Find Your Grind Foundation plans to continue outreach to the many young people looking to find their future in gaming. Due to its massive popularity, Fortnite has become an excellent teaching tool, as well as a level playing field for gamers of all backgrounds."
Applications close on February 4 with the semester starting on March 4, and applicants must be aged 17 or under as of January 21. If you're interested, be sure to head on over to Find Your Grind's Website to learn more on how to apply.
