BLAST Premier partners with Magnum

The deal will help Magnum promote their range of ice creams.

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament organiser BLAST Premier has signed a partnership deal with ice cream brand Magnum. The deal will Magnum integrated into upcoming tournaments through giveaways, social media content, and physical and digital in-game branding, and has the aim to show gamers how they can get ice cream delivered right to their doors.

"Unilever is one of the world's most recognised and well-respected brands, their appetite to partner with BLAST Premier is testament to how much our tournament circuit has grown over the last 18 months and its global appeal," said Oliver Clarke, head of brand partnerships for BLAST. "We are excited to see the results of taking their popular Magnum ice cream brand to a highly engaged esports and gaming audience during our Fall Groups event."

BLAST will also work with Unilever (the company who owns Magnum) in a sponsorship deal that will see the aftershow Overtime backed by the company.

The next BLAST Premier event will be the Fall Groups that are set to take place between September 16-26.
