Blast Pro Series Madrid will host locally qualified team

This is the first time ever that the competition has done this, and the team will be joining the likes of Ence in the Spanish city.

The Blast Pro Series CS:GO competition will be heading to Madrid between May 10 to 11, and in the Madrid Arena we can expect to see a locally qualified team for the first time in the series, as revealed by a new press release that also informs us of Ence's inclusion.

Vodafone Giants are the team that qualified for the Play-In final at the Madrid Arena, who will be facing off against Movistar Riders for a place in the main event. The Madrid Arena will host this qualifier final, meaning even more CS:GO to be excited about.

Rounding off the selection of teams are NaVi, Astralis, Cloud9, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, but we should expect to see more local teams in the future, as "the ultimate goal is to have a local and regional qualification system for every Blast event in the coming seasons," according to the press release.

Are you pleased to see local teams?
