Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski has announced that he is "stepping away" from Rainbow Six: Siege, following an illustrious career that has seen him take home a couple Six Invitational wins as the highlight. The star player announced the decision over Twitter, saying "This has been something that has been slipping in and out of my mind for awhile after SI2020."

Canadian has detailed how playing Rainbow Six Siege for several years has caused him to lose the passion and motivation for the game that he once had, and that the delay of the Six Invitational 2021 was the final nail in the coffin.

He has not stated what his future involves right now, but he did say, "I know I will be staying away from playing or coaching R6 for the foreseeable future and exploring other opportunities." He has mentioned, however that it probably will mean he spends more time streaming and producing content.

As Canadian is one of the most decorated stars in the Rainbow Six Siege scene, it will be sad to see him leave, especially since he was part of the Spacestation Gaming roster that won the last Six Invitational. As for the future, the Six Invitational 2021 is now set to take place during May in the position of the May Major.

"It's in competitive multiplayer where the game shines. The matches are short, intense and always surprising."
