It's been a bit over two months since Avalanche Software was revived to make a Cars 3 game, and now we have the first details about it.

Disney has announced that the game is called Cars 3: Driven to Win, and that it'll launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Here we'll get to choose between more than 20 customisable characters as we race our way through over 20 tracks or take on one of the game's five other modes. Some of the other modes are Stunt Showcase (perform as many stunts and tricks as you can to get the highest score), Takedown (use a variety of power-ups to eliminate as many targets as possible to get the highest score), and Battle Race (race against your family and friends in local split-screen multiplayer). You can get a taste of what awaits in the trailer below.

Does this seem like something worth resurrecting a studio for?

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"There's plenty to see and do, and younger players will enjoy the number of events, tracks, and unlockable cars on offer."
