FIFA 14 managed to stay ahead of Grand Theft Auto V in its second week on the chart, but the gap closed to a "mere" 31,000 units. Sales of FIFA 14 dropped 68% (compared to a drop of 72% for FIFA 13 in its second week), but sales are still tracking lower than they were for FIFA 13. As for GTAV it has managed to surpass sales of Grand Theft Auto IV in just three weeks as it ranks 12th in life-time sales, if you look at revenue (given the high price of the Collector's Edition and the fact that all sales so far are full price) it ranks 5th all-time, trailing four Call of Duty titles.
Four new entries made it into the top 10 with F1 2013 taking third ahead of the re-released The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. NBA 2K14 came in seventh, with Just Dance 2014 getting ninth. We expect the latter to show legs. And did people really pick up Medal of Honor: Warfighter just to get into the exclusive Battlefield 4 beta last week? One has to wonder...
