Supercell has announced the plans for the 2021 Clash of Clans World Championship. The event set to take place later this year will follow a revamped Road to the World Championship - set to span around six months.
This new style will feature six monthly seasons, each split into a Clan War League season, a Monthly Pre-Qualifier, and a Monthly Qualifier - where the winner gets a ticket to the World Championship, with second qualifying for the Last-Chance Qualifier. The Last-Chance Qualifier will take place at the end of the year to introduce a further two rosters to the World Championship team list.
As for the World Championship, this will see eight teams slug it out, for a share of the $1 million prize pool, although no information regarding dates or if this will be an online or LAN tournament have been revealed as of yet.
