Crackdown 3 gets a release date and multiplayer details

At long last, we have a date for our diary.

After multiple delays, Microsoft finally confirmed a concrete release date during their big Inside Xbox show at the X018 expo in Mexico City, and they also re-revealed the game's ambitious multiplayer suite, which bears the name "Wrecking Zone".

As revealed in the broadcast Crackdown 3 will launch on February 15th, and as promised it will launch day and date on Xbox Game Pass.

The multiplayer mode is as was advertised a few years ago, where two teams of five players will battle for supremacy using detailed destructible environments for tactical advantage. However, it would appear that it's now placed in an arena, rather than in the open-world city of New Providence where the single-player takes place.
