Crypt of the Necrodancer is getting Amplified this week

You won't find many roguelikes more personable than Crypt of the Necrodancer. If you've not played the toe-tapping game yet then check out our review for more dancefloor details. On the other hand, if you're already familiar with its rhythmic ways then you'll likely already be looking forward to Amplified, the new prequel expansion that's leaving Early Access on PC this week, on July 12. The content drop will feature a new protagonist, Nocturna, a vampire who no doubt will boogie her way through the new zone that's being added to the game. Expect new enemies, loot, gear, a boss battle, and secrets hidden here and there. It's priced £4.99 / €6.99, and you can see it in action via the trailer below.
