Nintendo just sent over a press release which includes the following story trailer, revealing more about the upcoming western release of Detective Pikachu on 3DS. That's right, there's trouble in Ryme City and there's only one crime-solving pokemon up to the case, and you can find out more about the game, the characters, and the world itself, by watching the trailer below.
But, before you watch that, we were also told that the larger-than-normal Detective Pikachu amiibo releasing alongside the game will unlock "a load of hilarious content that might also provide some useful hints" for players. Those who don't have one will still be able to enjoy the same content, but they'll have to work a bit harder to get it. The chipped figurine will set you back around £20, so if you're planning on picking one up alongside the 3DS release on March 23, it'll be worth factoring that expense into your plans.
