EA has sold 33 million Star Wars Battlefront games

Star Wars Battlefront and its sequel have sold better than some gamers may have thought.

During last night conference call for EA, they had plenty of things to reveal about the future, but also the past. In the latter category, it was revealed (via Daniel Ahmad) that EA has sold no less than 33 million Battlefront games. This includes both Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II (physical and digital).

They have also really high hopes for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is expected ship between 6-8 million units before March 31st 2020. That is extremely high numbers for a singleplayer game in a new video game franchise. But then again it is also Star Wars and Respawn Entertainment is one of the best developers of action games at the moment - so du you think they'll pull this one off?
