Eleague has unveiled yet another tournament to add to their extensive list, and this time we have The Eleague Cup: Rocket League feature series and live tournament beginning on Friday, December 1.

This will be Eleague's first venture into the sports-action video game space and will not only show elite competition but will also be "shining the spotlight on engaging narratives surrounding teams, players and Rocket League".

"Rocket League is such a fun and entertaining blend of creative vehicles and soccer. With competition at its core, it's also a popular esports title that resonates with audiences of all ages," said Christina Alejandre, GM of Eleague and VP of esports, Turner Sports. "We're very excited to feature this compelling game as we further expand our Eleague portfolio and provide immersive content experiences across all platforms."

The competition was created in partnership with developer Psyonix, and will invite the world's eight best teams to compete, with two four-team groups being whittle down to the best two, who will advance to a single-elimination playoff, with $150,000 USD of prize money at stake.

A feature series will also be produced as a kind of documentary throughout the competition. Could this be the best Eleague competition yet?
