Microsoft's Inside Xbox show has had plenty to share today, including an appearance by legendary developers Brenda and John Romero to talk about Empire of Sin, and in case that wasn't exciting enough, we even got a new trailer showing off the gameplay we can expect when it releases in spring of next year.

This isn't just about the combat though, as the trailer shows the management elements too, as well as the various characters you can recruit during your adventure in Chicago, such as Jack. Building your crime empire might also require corrupting some cops as well, so they turn a blind eye to your behaviour.

As the Romeros explained to us on the stream, your time in Empire of Sin will be affected by precious resources like time, money, and alcohol, and you can actually tailor your experience by changing the length of the game. The characters will change as you go along as well, depending on your actions and how you treat them.

For more on the many aspects of the game, check out our interview with John Romero at E3 this year in which we talked about everything great and small in Empire of Sin.
