The Brazilian esports organisation Godsent has announced the signing of its new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive "project." The roster consisting of all-Brazilian players is set to be a "long-term project for 2021 and onward" that consists of several former champions alongside young talent.

"We are very much honoured and excited for this new project and for everything it will bring to our organisation," said Henrik Denebrandt and Ludwig Sandgren, CEO's of GODSENT. "We are very confident that we will do epic things together in the coming years. We want to thank Dead, Taco and the team for their passion and for bringing this about. The transition would also not be possible without our fairly new cooperation with the betting company Betsafe."

The team is set to be managed by Ricardo "Dead" Sinigaglia, with Epitacio "Taco" de Melo as the in-game leader, and João "Felps" Vasconcellos as the second in-command. The remaining roster will field Bruno "Latto" Rebelatto, Bruno "B4rtin" Câmara, and Eduardo "Dumau" Wolkmer. As for who will take on the position as the coach that falls to Olavo "cky" Napoleão.

According to the announcement, to build this roster Godsent had to buy out a bunch of these player's contracts from other organisations. Furthermore, Godsent has also signed each member to at least a three-year deal, hence the long-term project part of the roster reveal.

As for when we will next get to see the team in action, Godsent are set to compete in late January in the European region.
