Xcom: Enemy Unknown

Firaxis took a bit of a risk by trying their hand at Xcom, as not even the original gameƕs creators were able to make a sequel that satisfied the fans. It took many years and several attempts to get it right, but in Xcom: Enemy Unknown that classic mix of real-time management and turn-based combat has been realised to perfection, and the seminal original now has a worthy successor. If strategy is your bag, this is your game of the year.
