It was only yesterday that we reported on the news that Pioneers, one of the more impactful esports organisations in the Halo competitive scene, was denied a partnership for the Halo Championship Series, something that sparked an outrage among fans.

Now today, we can add that Gamers First is the latest organisation to also miss out on a partnership with the HCS. Speaking about this revelation, Gamers First co-owner "Makowski" has taken to Twitter to say.

"Quick Update: G1 did not make it into the @HCS. We were a long shot being so new to Halo as an org, but it still stings a little. We'll take the pain and use it to push even harder. Worlds has always been the #1 goal and that doesn't change with today's decision."

343 Industries has yet to announce the teams that have been selected for partnerships, but considering the increasing number of rejections, no doubt it's getting closer to that time.
