Take-Two Interactive has some very big properties under their care, and in their most recent earnings call for the last quarter - ending on March 31 this year - they talked about one of their most successful: Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V.
In the call (as reported by GamesIndustry.biz) we hear that the game has passed a staggering 110 million copies sold, which is a lot more than the entire Borderlands series, which has sold over 43 million, with 20 million of these being Borderlands 2.
This figure for GTA V never seems to stop climbing, and it should continue to be popular as Take-Two hopes for revenue targets between $2.7 and $2.8 billion USD in this fiscal year, bolstered by upcoming games and unannounced projects.
We found out that the game hit 100 million copies sold in November last year, and in April 2018 we reported that it's the highest grossing media title ever, outselling Michael Jackson's Thriller and making much more money than Avatar did at the box office.
Will GTA V continue to sell?
