Ebb Software is working on a horror game that drags us into the entrails of a dystopian, gory world. What we can see in the first impression gameplay trailer released earlier this week looks very atmospheric, fleshy and stunningly disgusting. The game will feature small puzzles, shooting strange creatures and gross environments. By God, shoot those things!

Ebb is currently looking for backers on Kickstarter to help them fund the first of two episodes of Scorn. They just started their campaign and there is plenty of time left, but they need €150.000 to cover the development costs to complete the episode. If you want to know more about the project and the various backer rewards, head over to the campaign.

"Throughout the game, you will open up new areas, acquire different skill sets, weapons, and various items, while trying to comprehend the sights presented to you. We want to create a broad gameplay experience that is more than a simple blend of all the game mechanics. You will constantly be required to re-think and adapt your actions."

Sounds delightful, doesn't it?

Scorn

REVIEW. Written by Claus Larsen

Repulsive, confusing, and nauseatingly brown, Scorn is nonetheless a well-realised and atmospheric horror adventure.
