David Caballero caught up with Akira Yamaoka, composer on the Silent Hill series and currently working at Grasshopper Manufacture to discuss the music in his games and his future projects.
The discussion touched on Lollipop Chainsaw ("really focused on 80's American high school theme") Killer is Dead ("that game is probably not going to be what you expect"), Black Knight Sword ("there's an orchestra pit, the music is being played underneath the stage"), and music design ("the most important thing is to have the mind, you really have to think about the player").
Yamaoka, also expressed his admiration for the recent XBLA release Deadlight.
