Jonas Elfving caught up with Sumo Digital's Steve Lycett at a go-kart course to learn more about Sonic's latest racing antics.

When asked on the number of characters on offer Lycett hinted at the possibilities of exclusive characters on certain platforms:

"Good grief. I can't go into massive detail, cause each platforms sometimes has plus, sometimes has less, but worse case we're looking at something like 28 or 29 characters."

When framerate issues got brought up Lycett responded.

"We always get asked about this. On the last game we actually brought an update out not long after release which actually fixed all the framerate issues, hopefully. But this time it's definitely a key for improvement."
