The London-based, David Beckham-backed esports organisation Guild Esports has announced that it is leaving competitive Apex Legends. Revealed in a tweet, the decision also means that it is parting ways with the roster of individuals that represented Guild in tournaments on the game.

There's no exact reason for the departure, as all that Guild has stated is:

"It's with a heavy heart that we announce our departure from the Apex Legends pro scene.

We would like to thank @matafe_, @Horizxonn & @SiltaApex for giving it their all.

We wish them all the best for the future."

As for where its three players will end remains to be determined, as neither have signed elsewhere just yet.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"The mix of weapons, the revive mechanic, the excellent design of the map, the fluidity of the controls, and the stellar gunplay all combine to make a slick first-person experience."
