Over the course of the May Melee qualifiers, the Houston Outlaws proved that they are going to be a capable team in the 2021 Overwatch League season, beating out the San Francisco Shock and the Dallas Fuel during the three weeks before the tournament play-ins. The team didn't manage to make it to the May Melee main event, after being handed a loss by the Fuel in the play-ins, but still proved that they are going to be a team to beat over the year.
To ensure that the organisation has all bases covered, it has recently announced the signing of Sanglok "Dreamer" Song in the main tank position, taking an already well balanced roster and making it even more deadly.
With the June Joust qualifiers set to begin this weekend, we'll be able to see the now expanded Outlaws in action, when they face the Atlanta Reign at 9:30pm BST / 10:30pm CEST on May 22, to see if they can keep this hot streak going.
