Kotaku reports that Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward was evacuated yesterday following a bomb threat made via e-mail. According to the report, police showed up at the studio and told everyone to leave and the evacuation was without incident. The threat is one in a long line of threats made to companies and institutions in America recently.
Infinity Ward was the studio behind the original Call of Duty (even if many of the original developers left the studio as Respawn Entertainment was founded), in recent years they've been responsible for Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. They're expected to be the studio behind next year's Call of Duty as Activision makes use of a three-year studio rotation (Treyarch and Sledgehammer being the other two Call of Duty studios).
