Is Metroid Prime: Federation Force hinting at Metroid Prime 4?

We've been playing the 3DS title Metroid Prime: Federation Force for review and we discovered something that we thought might be a little hint of there being a Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon. Though it should be noted that while we don't necessarily deem this a heavy spoiler, those of you who would like to see all these things for themselves should probably stop reading now.

After the credits have rolled we get a glimpse of the evil bounty hunter Sylux from Metroid Prime: Hunters in the act of stealing a metroid egg. The Metroid Prime big shot Kensuke Tanabe has previously said that he'd like to explore that character further, and to top it all off, it was Sylux's ship we saw Samus Aran hunt at the end of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Is this a subtle hint as to what's coming down the line on NX? You tell us. Either way, Metroid Prime: Federation Force is out on the September 2. Stay tuned for our review.
