Red Barrels, the developer behind the chilling, horrifying horror game Outlast, its expansion Outlast: Whistleblower and the sequel Outlast 2 recently teased an announcement on Twitter just recently. The Tweet displays an image of a very Outlast-eque pair of hands gripping together with the text "Where freedom ends." on top and the tweet itself states the following: "Announcement coming soon."
It would seem as though a new Outlast game is in the works, but only time will tell.
Do you want to see another instalment in the series?
"Outlast 2 works to augment the experience of its acclaimed predecessor, delivering a much larger and diverse open world..."
Developer Red Barrels are teasing something Outlast related on Twitter to be announced "soon".
And we're also getting new titles in the future.
An appropriate Halloween announcement.
It runs until November 2.
We're back in the Den of Terror!
But Hard and Nightmare will still be a challenge.
