Last month From Software's president Hidetaka Miyazaki said he "would enjoy" a remaster of Demon's Souls, although he explained that it's not something he would like to work on right now for a number of reasons. He doesn't like looking back on his old work, after all, and Sony would have to sign off on it.

This hasn't stopped people from speculating on a potential remaster though, as someone on ResetEra asked if people thought we'd ever get it. Fuel was added to the fire when Kotaku's Jason Schreier - an industry veteran with a proven track record of leaks - simply responded with "yes."

One of the big appeals of remastering Demon's Souls is because the servers were taken offline back in 2017, meaning that those who want to play it can no longer get help from others online. Considering the difficulty of From Software's games, that's a bit of an issue. On top of that, Demon's Souls is also considered a somewhat neglected gem, as Dark Souls was the game to really catapult the series into the spotlight.

Would you like a Demon's Souls remaster?
