We reported last month on rumours that Fabien 'KioShiMa' Fiey was on the way out of Cloud9's CS:GO team, and now we have the official confirmation from the North American organisation.
KioShiMa has been released from his contract after signing with the team in November, in that time representing the team at the Blast Pro Series in Lisbon and the Eleague CS:GO Invitational 2019.
"I really appreciate Cloud9 giving me the opportunity to play professional CSGO again. I'm looking forward to what's next for me in my career and I wish Cloud9 the best," KioShiMa said.
"It has been a pleasure working with kio over the past few months. Although his time at Cloud9 has come to an end, I wish him all the best in the future. Thank you for everything kio!" added Jonathan Tran, Cloud9's CS:GO General Manager.
We're promised an update on the squad soon. Are you sad to see KioShiMa go?
