When Capcom turned on the servers for Street Fighter V last night, not everything worked as expected. Many players were complaining about connectivity issues as you can see over on Reddit, Steam and Twitter.

It sounds like it took seemingly forever to establish an online connection, and then players were hit with time outs. And then, even if you had a connection, server instability meant dropped matches and plenty of restarts.

However, Capcom was on-hand to respond to the issues, and as the publisher wrote on Twitter, they took the servers offline for an hour, found the issue and solved it. Since then, as far as we can tell, there's been no more complaining about similar issues.

We published our review of Street Fighter V yesterday, and while we certainly came away impressed with the gameplay, the barebones package still has a long way to go. Here's our review.
