Disney Interactive and TT Games have announced Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, the next popular franchise to get a lego treatment from the Warner Bros owned developer. The game will take characters and setting from the first three movies as well as the upcoming fourth one - Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The game will launch alongside the fourth movie in May on all platforms imaginable.
"The action-packed world of Pirates of the Caribbean is a perfect fit for LEGO video games," said Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games Publishing. "With so many wonderful characters, in such amazing environments, our teams are having great fun - and we're sure that players will, too."
There will be a massive 70 playable characters and the game will feature the characteristic lego brand humour in cutscenes found in all TT Games titles.
To make all this co-operation even merrier lego will release Pirates of the Caribbean themed construction sets at the time of the movie and game launch.
