The Commonwealth Games, which have been held in Birmingham, UK this year, officially came to an end last night after Black Sabbath performed during the closing ceremony. The sporting event decided to expand its horizons this year by also including an esports division, where nations competed for medals in Dota 2, Rocket League, and eFootball. Now that the event has ended, we can report on who topped the medal charts.

Coming in first with three gold medals to its name was Malaysia, who concluded the tournament with a dominant showing at the Dota 2 Open final. Coming in second was England, with one gold medal, three silvers, and one bronze to show, which was enough to place the nation ahead of Wales, who recorded one gold medal, one silver, and one bronze.

As for which nations made up the remainder of the medal table, you can see the full table right here.
