Man claims a Wii burned down his home

A man from Colorado, who lived in his RV, watched Netflix one morning on his Nintendo Wii console, left for a meeting, and came back to find his home burned to a crisp.

The man claims that it was the console, even though it was powered down, that was responsible for the ignition, and several sources seem to back up his claim.

According to the victim, fire investigators has stated, that they're "99 percent sure, the console was the cause", and a fire department spokesperson has said, that "all other possible sources of ignition have been ruled out."

This has caused debate over the power consumption of gaming consoles, as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U all use more power than the Wii.

The investigation is ongoing, so we'll have to wait and see, to find out whether the Wii was the actual cause of the fire.
