Konami has announced a June debut for its PS Vita version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Already released for Xbox 360 and PS3, the handheld version ironically omits the PSP title Peace Walker from the compilation. But the MGS2 and MGS3 versions will reportedly include a rejigged control scheme to use the Vita's functionality, as well as Kojima Productions' Transfarring system to trade data between the Vita and the PS3 - so you can continue your game either at home or on the move.

The publisher doesn't note the exact date, but states it'll be "the end of June" when the Vita version hits stores (so take that as Friday 29th.)
