Microsoft is clearly making a big push with Xbox Game Pass, and has been doing so for a while. First-party titles like Crackdown 3 are releasing at launch on the streaming service, but there are also plenty of other games like Fallout 4 and Just Cause 4 joining the service, both of which are arriving this month.
On April 4 though another big name will be joining Game Pass, as Minecraft is landing on the service to bring the creativity to even more players. This isn't totally surprising considering Microsoft's relationship with the game, but it's definitely big news for Game Pass subscribers, who will expand the already vibrant community around the game.
Let's not forget you can also play cross-platform with this version as well, so if you've got friends on the Switch you can play with them too. An aquatic update was also released last year, so the game is still being bolstered with content despite its veteran status.
Is this your chance to dive into Minecraft?
