Minecraft developer Mojang has revealed that the Bedrock edition of their smash sandbox hit is coming to PlayStation 4, which is different to the regular PS4 version because it's the "unified version of the game that offers the same experience across all consoles".
With such a unified version, this means you'll be able to play cross-play with mobile, Windows 10, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, as well as getting access to the Minecraft Marketplace, including mini-games, skins, mash up packs, and more.
If you already own Minecraft on PS4, you'll get a free update installed to update it to this version, and the update will come out this week to make sure that all of these features are enabled.
We even get a brand new trailer to introduce us to the unified goodness, celebrating the collaborative potential of the game.
Are you pleased to hear this about the PS4 version?
