Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge for Wii U and 3DS

Nintendo has released a fresh trailer in Japan to promote Amiibo figurines, in the process announcing Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge. The game is launching on January 28 and it's a new game in the well known Mario vs. Donkey Kong series, but this time with Amiibo support.

If you scan a character from the Mario Amiibo series it will appear in the game, for any other character there will be a robot called Mini Spec. It's likely that every character has different characteristics and skills.

Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge will be released for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and even if it's only announced for Japan so far, we are sure that this game will be released in Europe as well.
