Dissidia: Final Fantasy was something of surprise concoction that put characters from the Final Fantasy series in a fighting game on PSP. It went on to become a commercial success, especially in Japan, and now a sequel is on its way.
It was announced in the latest issue of Japanese Shonen Jump (via Kotaku), and it has been given the name Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy. We're guessing they might change that one out if it gets a Western release. The game is likely to feature at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show next week.
