Earlier this month Ubisoft revealed a new documentary series based on Rainbow Six: Siege called Escalation, the aim of which was to prepare us for the upcoming Six Invitational tournament in which 16 teams will battle it out in Montreal for a share of the $500,000 USD prize pool from February 13 to 18, and now we have four episodes of the show, each based on a different aspect on the tactical shooter and featuring insights from prominent figures in the competitive community.

Players from Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, and Supremacy, as well as casters KiXSTAr and Meligeni, have all contributed their thoughts to this series and the tactics of the game, and all of the below episodes were filmed during the Rainbow Six Pro League Season 3 Finals in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Episode 1 is called Stay on Top, talking about how the new operators and maps constantly change the meta, while Episode 2 - Breach the Fortress - focuses on the destructible environments that make the game so unique. Episode 3, however, is all about the training and mental preparation involved in esports, and Episode 4 talks about clutching games when the odds are stacked against you.

You can watch all four episodes below if you want to get into the mood for the Six Invitational, or just want some tips on how to get better yourself. Do you like esports documentaries like this?
