New songs released for Rock Band

21 months after the "last" update there are new songs from Arctic Monkeys, Avenged Sevenfold and Foo Fighters.

It was almost two years ago Harmonix announced that they would end the releases of new DLC for their Rock Band series. And they've kept that promise. Until now. In an announcement on Harmonixmusic.com, they have now announced three songs for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, namely:

• Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine?
• Avenged Sevenfold - Shepherd Of Fire
• Foo Fighters - Something From Nothing

No real reason was given why they did this. It is, of course,not farfetched to suspect that it's some sort of test to see how many people that's still interested in these games and uses their plastic miniature instruments from yore.
