This year's surprisingly decent War For Cybertron - Transformers does Gears of War, if you will - has been green-lit for a sequel by license owner Hasbro, who announced its release for next year.
War For Cybertron was developed by San Diego outfit High Moon Studios. There's no confirmation whether it's continuing its Autobot/Decepticon love-fest, but the company's official website is currently advertising for a Character & Vehicle Modeler "to create visually inspiring and creative 3D characters and vehicles for a high-profile title".
The employment contract is a short-term six months, putting its new project on an ETA of around June next yea, nearly twelve months since WFC was released.
Perhaps less exciting is the fact Hasbro also announced a tie-in title for Michael Bay's big-screen slugfest Transformers: The Dark of the Moon, which will hit Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and 3DS next year, probably in time for the movie hitting cinemas next July.
