Ni No Kuni: beautiful TGS footage

An interactive Studio Ghibli film? PS3 release Ni No Kuni looks to be just that.

The adventure title - translated as 'The Another World' - is a collaboration with the Japanese animation studio, the creator behind the likes of Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, and Japanese game developer Level 5.

The game was available for hands-on at Tokyo Game Show, and GRTV was there to capture this fantastic footage.

The game follows 13 year-old Oliver and his companion, a male fairy named Shizuku, as they explore a parallel reality called Ninokuni, and is the second game in the series. The first has already been released on the Nintendo DS last year to critical acclaim.

This second game, subtitled The Queen of White Sacred Ash, is due out in Japan before Christmas, with a Western release expected sometime in 2012.
