Nintendo Switch is a safe bet for most indie games, and even multiplatform projects such as No Straight Roads try to offer something different on the hybrid console. The game is set to launch in Europe and North America digitally on August 25, 2020, with a physical collector's edition following in September.

In fact, Metronomik just released a new trailer focusing on the Switch-specific features in No Straight Roads, including the three players assist mode and the touchscreen controls (the game is also compatible with the Pro controller). All the gameplay comes directly from the Switch version and the developer promises that it runs at 60 frames-per-second.

No Straight Roads tells the story of two rock musicians, Mayday and Zuke, fighting in Vinyl City against the predominant EDM megastars. It has been created by Wan Hazmer (Final Fantasy XV) and Daim Dziauddin (Street Fighter V).

As a musical game, physical pre-orders on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will come with a download code for the digital soundtrack, which features 21 tracks.
