Free to play mobile racing game Mario Kart Tour has been out for over a month, and recently the game's Twitter page released a look at the fifth Peach variant that is soon to drop in the game.
The arrival of this skin will mean that Peach has the joint largest skin pool in the game, tied with Mario, and fans of the series may notice the new outfit as one of Peach's travel outfits that features in Super Mario Odyssey.
The unnamed skin has received a mix of responses from Twitter, with some fans excited about the new addition whilst other fans are seemingly unhappy with the introduction altogether, with many fearing that this will be another expensive microtransaction (similar to the Diddy Kong pack we spoke about earlier in the year).
In the last month or so many fans have taken to social media to express disapproval over the costs included within this game in general, especially with the subscription service and the gacha-style loot system.
Do you think microtransactions take the fun out of free-to-play games?
