When Microsoft bought Mojang last year a lot of gamers feared that Minecraft would then become exclusive to Xbox. However, the company is still supporting other versions of the game and this month Minecraft will be released for Wii U.

It also turns out there's some people at Microsoft that wouldn't mind if this also worked the other way around, with Xbox boss Phil Spencer having no problem with Nintendo games being released on Xbox One. In fact, he says that he would like it.

On Twitter Spencer said that it was "nice to get to work with Nintendo on this". And when he was asked if we would ever see anything from Nintendo coming to Xbox. The answer was short and simple: "I'd be happy to see that."

But it's not always that easy. Of course some people still hold out hope for a proper remake of Goldeneye, which is a classic for Nintendo 64. But with regards to this particular game the situation seems to be very difficult. When asked about that in particular Spencer answered: "Goldeneye rights are so challenging, looked at this many times. Lot's of different parties to work with, we've always given up."
