This past weekend saw the conclusion of the Halo Championship Series Mexico City event, a tournament that brought the best teams from around Latin America together to compete for a share of a $50,000 prize pool and for a ticket to the HCS Major Orlando 2022, which is set to take place between September 23-25.

Now that the Mexico City event is in the books, we know the team that has been crowned as the winner for the tournament, with that honour falling to the Pittsburgh Knights after the organisation defeated CintaNegra Esports in the grand final.

This win has seen the Knights heading home with $20,000 in prize money as well as one of three tickets to the Orlando Major. As for what's next for the Halo Championship Series, the North American Super tournament is set to take place between August 5-7.
