Frontier Developments has just announced the first bit of paid DLC for Planet Zoo, the management tycoon game that was released earlier this year, and players can try the Arctic Pack on December 17 for £7.99 ($9.99 USD, or €9.99).
The Arctic Pack features four new animal habitats, two new scenarios, and hundreds more foliage and scenery items, coming alongside a free update to add even more features and fixes to the base game too.
These updates include an age slider to show the life cycle of an animal, and immediate family members have been added to the info panel as well. There are new heat maps including crime and inbreeding too, as well as new enrichment items and nature assets.
As for the DLC pack, this includes the Arctic Wolf, Polar Bear, Reindeer, and Dall Sheep, with the new scenarios featuring challenges focusing on expanding and maintaining zoos.
The snowy tundra biome will take us to Norway with the Aurora Sky, while the arid desert biome in Mexico provides a slightly different challenge.
On top of all of this, Frontier has shared an infographic updating us on player behaviour ever since the game launched, with 62 million animals being born since the beginning of November.
