If you're a fan of Introversion Software's Prison Architect, a new video from the developer may well be of interest to you, as we get to see an experimental multiplayer mode being tested out on PC that lets us manage a prison with our friends.

"Our programmers have achieved the impossible, and grafted co-operative multiplayer into Prison Architect," Introversion said, adding that "this is a very experimental alpha launch of multiplayer. You need to opt into the steam 'beta' branch to gain access."

For the time being this game mode allows us to invite up to seven friends to a shared server and work together to manage all the complicated prison operations, which may be for the best as it's a pretty tough job keeping everything in line.

Would you play this with your friends?

Prison Architect

REVIEW. Written by James Daniels

"Overall Prison Architect is a very good game, and it brings new ideas and a new setting to a tired genre."
