Rayman's creator Michel Ancel has announced that a build of the very first Rayman game, originally planned and cancelled on Super Nintendo, has been found. Ancel said yesterday on Instagram that only four people have ever seen the game in motion and it was thought be lost for almost 25 years. Against all the odds the EPROM cartridge is still working and Ancel posted a picture of it:

"It's working !!!! 4 people in the world have seen this . We thought it was lost , but somewhere in the cold electronic circuit , something was still alive . and running at full 60fps !!! should do a Switch version of this". He also posted a picture of the cartridge in the console, and clearly he's pretty excited by this revelation himself. Would you like to get your hands on a SNES Rayman game?
