Red Bull Racing Esports has signed a new title partnership deal with the cloud infrastructure-powered analytics service, Oracle, in a deal that will see Oracle incorporated into the team's name, and also will see Oracle using its systems to help improve Red Bull's sim-racing drivers with more training and information opportunities.
With the team now set to be known as Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports, this announcement comes after Oracle was also revealed to be the title partner of Red Bull's main F1 team, with that also known as Oracle Red Bull Racing.
"Our partnership with Oracle marks a major step forward for our world class Esports programme," said Oracle Red Bull Racing chief marketing officer Oliver Hughes. "Applying techniques and technology used in Formula One to give our incredible roster of sim racing talent an extra competitive advantage is a vital step in our mission to be the most successful sim racing Esports team. We are always looking for ways to push beyond the boundaries and we are very excited about the potential of this partnership."
