It's just a few months since we last talked about rumours that Red Dead Redemption and a possible Red Dead Redemption 2 were set to be announced during E3 2016, but in the end nothing happened.

Now there are more rumours circulating, the first of which claims that Rockstar's acclaimed title could land on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in a remastered format, even though the game was recently made available on Xbox One thanks to the backwards compatibility.

These rumours came from Korea and, according to the leak, this alleged announcement should be made tomorrow, Tuesday (September 6).

At the moment it should taken with a pinch of salt as there's no official confirmation from Rockstar, and because some usually reliable insiders have refuted the story, especially considering the recent aforementioned backwards compatibility feature.

According to other rumours, Rockstar Games may be present at the PlayStation Meeting held in New York on September 7, and on this occasion the studio might even announce Red Dead Redemption 2, a title that was allegedly set to be announced at E3 but that never materialised.

Might Red Dead fans be about to get a big announcement? Or maybe even two? Who knows, we might not get any. We'll know by the end of the week, so stay tuned for more info as and when we get it.
